Wisconsin Emergency Management (WEM) and Jefferson County, in conjunction with the Wisconsin National Guard – Joint Operations Center (WI-JOC), invite you to attend SIMCOM 2013 at the Jefferson County Fair Park in Jefferson, WI, May 16, 2013.
The purpose of the SIMCOM (State Interoperable Mobile Communications) exercise is to educate, coordinate and test Mobile Emergency Communications platform capabilities from federal, state, tribal and local jurisdictions.
Come to SIMCOM 2013 and share information about your mobile communications assets, develop relationships, and understand capabilities of other agencies before they are needed in an emergency or incident.
You are welcome to bring your equipment, or just come out and see what mobile communications platforms are available in response and recovery incidents.
If you are planning to attend the event we ask that you reply to Jim Meilahn (WEM Warning and Communication Officer) at james.meilahn@wisconsin.gov with the following information by 15 March 2013.
If you are planning to bring your unit, please reply with the following information:

CONFERENCE SCHEDULE: As in previous years, there will be a golf outing at Trappers Turn on Wednesday, May 22 from 10AM to 4PM. This will be followed by several presentations at the Kalahari from 6PM to 8PM with a networking social afterwards.
On Thursday May 23, we will have a full day of presentations from the government and private sector beginning at 8AM and ending at 4:30PM. Lunch will also be provided.
