Professional certifications from ASIS International offer them another screening tool — one that has the backing and credibility of the preeminent professional society in the world for those who are responsible for security.

CPE Implementation Presentation (you must have PowerPoint to view the presentation)
The Professional Certification Board (PCB) is pleased to announce that the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit will be the new standard of measure for calculating re-certification credits. After extensive benchmarking and review of the various systems used by similar credentialing bodies, the PCB decided the CPE proved best suited to the ASIS International certification programs. The CPE re-certification system will go into effect January 1, 2008 for all designations – Certified Protection Professional (CPP®), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI®), and Physical Security Professional (PSP®).
